Terms of Service
9 August 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Spirit Meditations (the "Studio") at spiritmeditations.online and the purchase of our online courses. Please read them with the same unhurried attention we bring to our practices — by using the site or enrolling in a course, you agree to what follows.
1. Who we are
Spirit Meditations is a small online studio for guided meditation and mindful movement, founded and taught by Chiara Colognola, a meditation and mindful-movement guide. The Studio is operated as a sole trader business:
- Sole Trader Chiara Colognola
- No.433, 1F, Xiyuan Road, Xindian District, New Taipei City 23157, Taiwan
- Contact: hello@spiritmeditations.online
In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Sole Trader Chiara Colognola trading as Spirit Meditations; "you" refers to the person using the site or enrolling in a course.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to purchase or use our courses. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate and current.
3. Our courses
We offer digital courses delivered entirely online and streamed after purchase:
- The Space Between — a guided meditation course of 12 lessons. Between something happening in your day and your reaction to it, there can be a small space; this practice is about making it. Price: USD 97.
- Morning Stretching in Bed — mindful morning movement in 25 lessons (17 movement lessons, four ready-made sequences of 3, 5, 10 and 15 minutes, three theory lessons and the Stretch SOS Pack) you can follow from your bed, with no mat, no props and no pressure. Price: USD 97.
Both courses are digital content made available electronically. Once you enrol, your access begins and the practices can be streamed immediately.
4. Prices, payment and Merchant of Record
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD), with an approximate equivalent sometimes displayed in your local currency for convenience. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
Our order process and payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), which acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for every purchase. This means your contract of sale for the course price is with Paddle as reseller, while the course itself is created and delivered by us. Paddle also handles billing, receipts, taxes and payment-related support. Some orders are completed through a payment link that we send you on request; that link is issued by Paddle and payment is taken by Paddle in exactly the same way. We never take payment directly and never handle your card details.
We do not accept cryptocurrency. Please review Paddle's buyer terms at checkout.
5. Your licence and acceptable use
When you enrol, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the course content for your own individual practice.
You agree not to:
- share, resell, sublicense or publicly perform the content;
- copy, download (except where a download is expressly offered), record or redistribute the videos, audio or written materials;
- circumvent access controls or share your login with others.
All courses, videos, audio, text, and the "the space between" concept and related materials remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors.
6. Digital delivery and your right of withdrawal
Because our courses are digital content delivered immediately, specific rules apply to cancellation. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. However, by starting to stream or access a course you expressly ask us to begin delivery at once and acknowledge that you lose that right of withdrawal once access has begun.
Full details, including our goodwill approach, are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Wellbeing, not medical advice
Spirit Meditations offers practices for relaxation, presence and gentle movement. The content is for general wellbeing and educational purposes only and is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Please move within your own comfort and ability, stop if you feel pain or discomfort, and consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new movement or meditation practice, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury, or living with a health condition.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Studio available and the courses accessible, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. We may update, improve or occasionally re-record course content, and we may suspend or withdraw parts of the site for maintenance or legal reasons.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published here, and the "last updated" date shows when it last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Studio or a course is limited to the amount you paid for that course.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes that depend on your personal circumstances, effort or health.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence, including in the EU, EEA and UK.
Questions about these Terms are welcome at hello@spiritmeditations.online.
